Tips for Visiting Arts & Music Venues

If you are travelling by car, make sure you are aware of any parking fees at the venue. If you are travelling by public transport, ensure you know when the last connections home are and that you had adequate change. On arrival at the venue, you may need your credit card if you booked your tickets over the phone. Most venues in the UK allow the purchase of drink before, at the interval and after the performance. If you are staying overnight, check with the venue before booking as they often have special hotel deals based around the performance dates. You may need your performance ticket with you at the hotel to ensure you are able to take advantage of any discounted prices. After the performance, be prepared to queue as you leave the venue. If you enjoyed the performance, make sure you leave a review for others to enjoy!
